I know it might be a bit too late to talk about the story, but who cares. I'm the one who would laugh at a joke or a comedy scene in a movie only after the crowd stopped laughing. Yup, I'm slow. =D So, here we go.

I was introduced to twilight almost a year and half ago. My friend sent me a whole series of twilight books -- electronically. ;) I did not even finish the first book "Twilight" then. But one Friday evening, I happened to watch both "Twilight" and "New Moon" movies in a row which enthused me to read the books from the beginning. So I tried to dig out the electronic copies of Twilight Series in my mailbox, which were once sent to me. I started reading Twilight from the beginning again, followed by New Moon. Reading e-books never give you as much satisfaction as the real books do. One day, I pampered myself and bought a box which contained 4 books of Twilight Saga Series. I bought them from Kinokuniya bookstore during my lunch break and put it on my desk. When my boss saw the books, he said to me "You should have told me, I could have stolen from my daughters' bookshelves." I laughed at his idea and thanked him for his thoughtfulness, well maybe, slightly tinted with a bit of sarcasm. =P
There I started reading from Twilight again. I did not skip a page even though I've read the e-book and watched the movie. I re-read every single line of every single page. Yet, I still got carried away by the story. I read while I was eating, I read when I was on the bus, and when my boyfriend was beside me to steer the direction to where we were heading to, believe me, I read while I was walking too. And I finished the book one, Twilight.
I'm absolutely and utterly disgusted by Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart playing "Edward" and "Bella" roles. (Although I slightly liked Robert Pattison after watching Twilight, when I had read the story again I thought Robert needed an awful lot of room for improvement to be able to play Edward role). If look is not something one can improve, then they should have chosen another "beautiful" actor because according to the book Edward is very beautiful – yes, inhumanly beautiful. Coming to Kristen Stewart, I was very much irritated by the way she blinked in the movie -- it's TOO much.
Right after "Twilight", I moved on to "New Moon" which had the same effect on me -- getting me carried away, losing sleep hours, giving me burning eyes in the mornings and not being able to do any laundry or any chores, and I would not even talk to my mother who always came online at night to voice-chat with me reasoning that I was reading a book which, of course, she completely understood. I think I like Twilight more than New Moon – maybe I don't want to read Bella being sad or something. Jacob played a major role in this book. I like "Jacob" being performed by "Tylor Lautner."
I rushed to "Eclipse" as soon as I was done with "New Moon" as the movie was going to be on theatres shortly. Despite the fact I was having final exams for my first trimester, I studied "Eclipse" instead of "Marketing" and "Accounting." I loved the twists in the story and was very much delighted when the vampires and werewolves formed a temporary ally with each other. I didn't much like Bella when she was irrationally concerned about both Jacob and Edward protecting her. Considering the fact that both of them were stronger and even supernatural than she was, I thought she overreacted somehow. When the movie was released, I booked the tickets on the very first day and went together with my flatmates. I think Kristen Stewart is a lot better in Eclipse than she was in the previous two.
After Eclipse, I dared not touch "Breaking Dawn" until I finished my exams. I should not be flunking because of the books especially when I can read them any time as they're of my own, my conscious mind constantly reminded me. I had to study -- well, to make it til passing marks you know. I just couldn't wait!
Right after I came back from my last paper exam, I picked up the book , tucked myself in the bed and started reading it blissfully. "Breaking Dawn" was worth even saving my blinks while reading it. It was simply awesome! I liked it to the max and I'm reading it again even now. I liked the author's imagination about "Isle Esme" where they went for their honeymoon – I just wished I could do the same ,except of course, not with a vampire, but with my other half. I also liked the way the werewolves communicated each other – I thought it was VERY cool. I liked it when Jacob ditched his pack for the sake of protecting Bella and when Seth followed him. Most of all, when Jacob imprinted on Renesmee – I never expected, AT ALL! Who would? I liked the way the author had described 'human blood' being mouth-watering for vampires which did not disgust me but made me mouth-watered instead. Weird. I was facinated by walk-in wardrobe Alex had arranged for Bella. I wish I had one too! =D I wonder how the movie would turn out, looking so much forward to it!
I'm going right back to reading "Breaking Dawn" right after I've posted this one.
Ta!
