• Long Weekend

  
  

  I know ... today is only Thursday. We have this public holiday 'Deepavali" also known as "Diwali" that falls on Saturday. And since Saturday is already a non-working day, Steven asked us not to come on Monday as an off-in-lieu. Yayy
  
  So  the universities also close on coming Monday, too. And guess what!  It's a date for us! Ta-dah
  Haha, I know, sounds silly right?
  It doesn't matter whether he's my husband or my boyfriend. The thing is he asks me out
  
  Anyway, here's my plan (Although I don't know on which day I will actually go) ... erm ... tentatively for Sunday as next day is still a holiday.
  OH .. yeah where? where are we going? I think we're going to Fort canning park for nothing but a date!
  I think of taking a romantic walk together, or maybe a picnic will do.
  
  

   
  

  
  We'll bring sandwiches, juice and water from home then spend there one whole day. Or at least whole afternoon and evening. I'm thrilled just by thinking about it because it's really been a long time we haven't gone out only two of us. Seriously.
  
  

  
  

  
  I'll take photos... lots and lots of photos till the camera memory card runs out of space. Haha.  Yeah but we need someone else to take nice pictures of us together yet we do not want (or I do not want) to bring anybody with us. And, we don't have a tri-pod. OK, anyway let's see how things go.
  
  

   
  
  

  Sitting under such shady tree and leaning against each other, we will talk about our sweet memories and plans for future. Not that we dwell in the past or future but sometimes it's really good to talk about what we've done together and what we're going to do together.
  
  Could we possibly bring guitar also?? and some song books. If it's a burden for him, we won't bring.
  Oh yeah, I just decided not to bring.
  No .. it's not about him having burden to carry the guitar all along.
  It's about me - only I should be the one who's between arms. He cannot be hugging or cuddling anything else but me because it's my date!
